Christmas Decorating

Due to our upcoming schedule, we decided to put up the Christmas tree and decorations tonight. The kids were so excitied. Let's say, Chad was TOO excited. No matter, we enjoyed getting the tree up. Chad and Kaylee both put up their own stockings. Kaylee put the Angel on top of the Christmas tree.

Great Day

I added pictures from Sunday when Michael's brother and family came over. The kids had fun playing together.

I titled this blog "great day" because I am very thankful for today. Michael and I have had many conversations about how I don't want to just "survive" each day but that I want to enjoy each day with my family. There are many days that survival barely occurs. Today was different.

Those of you who know about Chad's past, know that it hasn't been an easy rode. I praise God that Chad and I were able to spend about an hour today playing games. We had no issues or didn't have to stop the game for this or that. We just had an hour of time that we loved on each other with our time and laughter. I praise God that I didn't just survive but I loved today!

November Update

On November 13th, Cole got a taste of his first real food - rice ceral. He really liked it and opened his mouth for more.

Kaylee has decided if she tells me "I obey, Mommy" that she should not get in trouble. On Friday she was attempting to get down from the cabinet the container of markers. When I asked her to put them back she said "I obey, Mommy." Although it hasn't keep her out of trouble (because she really doesn't obey) it has been pretty cute!

This morning while I was doing dishes, Michael walked in to Chad and Cole's room to find Cole asleep in his crib with two monkeys walking around him. Yes, Chad and Kaylee climbed into Cole's crib with him fast asleep. It is amazing what the 3rd child can ignore!

Cole can sit up in a tripod position really well now. He seems to like it for a while but soon returns to a push-up position on his tummy.

November News

Our little ones are growing fast.

Potty training is going well. 3 weeks to the day - Kaylee had an entire day of no accidents!!! She is very excited about getting M&M's and is learning her colors as she prefers some colors of M&M's over others. We have also changed our clothing wardrobe to clothes that are more condusive to potty training! Kaylee even helped potty train another girl. After watching Kaylee, a friend went home and decided she wanted to use the potty too! Her mom was thrilled at Kaylee's teaching ability.

Cole has slept the last four nights from 7 to 7. Finally we are getting full night sleeps in our home again!!

We are looking forward to the holidays and the time with family. The kids think we should get the Christmas tree up - right now!
