Christmas or Bust

We started our Christmas rush - 8 Christmases in 2 weeks. Truly we must be insane. Remind me of this next year as we are making our plans. We are excited to see so many family and friends in the process though.

Chad has told us for a couple of months that he is getting Lightening McQueen car for Christmas. He was so sure that we couldn't let the little guy down. So we spent the great $2 and got him a car. You would think it cost $200. Chad LOVES to open presents. He has a really hard time watching other people. If the person (and Mommy and Daddy) aren't watching, he will have opened it for them.

Kaylee takes the longest amount of time to open her presents. Not that it is a neat job; just very slow. She got a doll house for Christmas and most of the time is spent taking the little people potty.

Cole is full blown crawling now. This has really changed our lives as I have to check on him very frequently as he really likes the gifts under the tree. Cole's hair has started to come in! We are anxious to see what color it truly ends up being. Another red head??? He is also eating real food. So, not only does Mommy spend 40 minutes nursing - now I have to feed him read food after that! Michael really feels like he is getting the raw end of the deal having to help more around meal times.

Christmas Tornado

I feel like we are in a tornado of activities wtih Christmas quickly approaching. Cole has been sick for the last 1 1/2 weeks which has added to the craziness. Finally he is feeling better and hopefully will begin sleeping through the nights again. It has been like having a newborn again with him eating every two-three hours and several times throughout the night. A little wearing on Mommy. Cole is eating better now and hopefully we will see a nice weight gain now. He is constantly moving - either rolling or inchworm crawling. He sits up pretty well but doesn't want to stay since crawling is so much easier to get to where he wants to be.

Kaylee and Chad are excited to have Christmas come. I had to wrap all of the presents without Chad because he can not keep a secret. He is so excited that he has to tell everything to everyone!

We are looking forward to spending time with family very soon. If Mommy can just get all of the food ready, house picked up (notice that I didn't say clean!), and enough clean clothes for the kids to have something to wear!!
