Kaylee: I am mommy's biggest helper. And my teacher's as well. They both depend on me for so much. I am writing a journal to my teacher. I decided that she would like that better than getting pieces of paper every day. Mommy is amazed at my handwriting. (Image below) She thought it was someone else's at first. I write that way because I am a teacher too. Kindergarten continues to dominate my conversations and thoughts. I am reading very well and am happy to read harder books at school.
Chad and I made Valentine's boxes for school.
Cason and I are buds. I sit with him while he is potty training sometimes. He loves it when I read to him.
Cole: The ENT is amazed at how well I am doing after having my tonsils and adenoids removed. And after three weeks of no jumping, running, or biking, I am very happy to be able to do whatever I want (or so I think). I am fascinated with jails right now and have figured out how I will break out if I have to go sometime. God is using me to bring my parents to their knees. A job with which I am happy to assist. Legos, trains, and books occupy my non-timeout time. I build amazing things.
Chad: Math continues to be my favorite subject. I am thrilled when my teacher chooses my answer as the example. I spend around an hour a day on therapy activities and reading. But it is paying off as my reading is improving and Miss W is helping me make great gains in many areas.
I love to play in the garden dirt and am trying to dig a really deep hole. I am excited for summer to be able to bike and swim. Soccer is just around the corner and I am looking forward to playing again. Legos are my favorite toys and I make really cool planes.
Cason: I have been mommy's dream child for the past month. Giving hugs, kisses, and being obedient. This week I decided that I have a mind of my own and am sharing it with others. It has lead to some discipline but I am repentive afterwards. I continue to use the potty but stopped telling mom once she finally gave in to letting me use it. Either way, I am doing great!
My vocabulary has exploded. At the beginning of February I started repeating words. There are few words that I won't repeat. Now I am repeating sentences and creating my own that are four to five words long. I chatter non-stop and assume that everyone knows what I am saying. I find myself very funny and love to read - especially when on the potty. After doing my business, I lean down toward the potty and say, "Bye, Bye Poo-Poo!" I can not reach the light switches and turn on all the lights and fans throughout the house.
