I came home a few months ago declaring, "I hate math." Mommy quickly squelched that with a, "You can't hate math. That is not an option." I looked at her pretty funny and then asked why. Mommy said that my family is filled with math teachers and they (including Mommy) all love math. She proceeded to tell me all the people who teach or taught math. She said I had to love math. Period.
Since that point my attitude has been different.
Today, I got the Math Award in my Kindergarten class!
