Construction Day 19

We have had major computer problems so I apologize for the lack of updating on the house! Lot has happened.

August 12th - Finished the decking on the roof and the roofers put up the tar paper.
August 13th - The roofers came to shingle. It took them about 4-5 hours total. They were amazing. While they did that, Mr. C and Mr. B put in the exterior doors and started demoing the old garage. They cut the new doors (from the garage side only).
August 14th - The electricians came and finished about 1/2 of the wiring. Mr. C and Mr. B finished the garage and moved the cabinet from the laundry room to the living room.

Back Shingled

The "hole" to the right will be french doors into the entry way. The "hole" to the left is into the old laundry room.

The electricians came on Friday. Chad and Kaylee were so excited to have a hole cut from the house to the old garage in which they could talk to the builders through.

Mr. C moved a cabinet from the old laundry room to the living room. Chad got to help knock out the sheet rock. He thought that was REALLY cool.

When I got the camera out to take a picture of the cabinet in, Cole got really excited and wanted to have his picture taken. The cabinet will have trim around it in a few weeks.
